About Raj-Yashti, Journal of Social Sciences 
 

        Raj-Yashti, Journal of Social Sciences is a prestigious bilingual journal which is being published by Rajasthan Political Science Association since 2008. To provide a platform for continuity of dialogue, acquisition, preservation and dissemination of knowledge and academic pursuits to scholars and researchers in social sciences Raj-Yashti is published under the ISSN number 0974-8687 through a peer- review process.
        The stimulus for research based publication elicited overwhelming response, moreso as there has been a paucity of such platform in the hindi heartland. It was thus decided to have 2 (bi-annual) publications – one in hindi and one in English.
        As a matter of fact, besides the enriching contributions of scholars from different parts of the country the journal has published articles of academics from outside the country as well. Subscriptions for Raj-Yashti is also widely ranged, both at the individual as well as Institutional levels.
        The painstaking efforts of the contributors and publishers merited due recognition and support of the highest and most  acclaimed national institution of social science research  in the country - ICSSR, which after due deliberations has been providing  financial  support for this publication since 2014. 
        Replete with editorial board, advisory board, website etc. this regularly published journal besides being duly supported by ICSSR was also recommended and submitted by the University of Rajasthan to UGC for inclusion in its list. Subsequently, the journal found its duly deserved place of prestige on number 63992 of the UGC list.
